Bible study simplified.
Maybe you’ve tried the different study methods out there—read books and listened to podcasts and bought the mugs with inspirational quotes. But you long for something more.
You desire an intimate relationship with the Lord.
But how can you really get to know God—not just what others say about Him? How can you know for yourself?
We believe every woman can study the Word for herself, and cultivate a deep, abiding relationship with God.
The inductive Bible study method is an incredible tool to dig into God’s Word, but learning how to do it can feel a bit daunting. Entire books are written on this method. We want to give you a simplified version, one that you can start using today.
Journaling made accessible.
Journaling is simply taking what is in our heads and writing it down on paper. We record our thoughts and ideas, and when we journal for spiritual growth, our prayers and spiritual insights. It’s a great way to both reflect on Scripture and respond to God.
Don’t let the idea of writing intimidate you! You don’t have to be eloquent or have perfect grammar, and you don’t have to spell every word correctly. You don’t even have to use complete sentences. You have the freedom to do it in a way that works for you.
The goal of journaling is not to create a literary masterpiece. It’s about cultivating a deeper, more intimate relationship with your Savior.

FOR THE WORD OF GOD IS LIVING AND ACTIVE, SHARPER THAN ANY TWO-EDGED SWORD, PIERCING TO THE DIVISION OF SOUL AND OF SPIRIT, OF JOINTS AND OF MARROW, AND DISCERNING THE THOUGHT AND INTENTIONS OF THE HEART.
—HEBREWS 4:12
Why should you try the
Bible study + journaling approach?
With the Bible study + journaling approach, you will
- Study the Word for yourself.
- Slow down and focus as you both reflect on Scripture and respond to God.
- Learn how to combine the practice of prayer and Bible study in a seamless conversation on the page, even if you don’t consider yourself a writer.
- Cultivate an intimate, personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
This isn’t about filling our heads with more knowledge. It’s about knowing our God. It’s about humbling ourselves before Him as He works in us to make us more Christlike.
Being in Him, having Him in us, living with His energy, chasing after His purposes, loving what He loves, seeing Him form in us until we’re actually like Him—that’s life.
—Larry Crabb
We pray you will get to know Him. And that as you encounter Him in the Word, you’ll understand what it is to have life in His name. That life which starts the moment you believe.
